Grace holds her son at the Internally Displaced Persons Camp at the Divisional Council Church in Maiduguri, Nigeria. Originally from Ngoshe Village close to the border of Cameroon, Grace hid in the mountains for close to seven months when Boko Haram invaded her village in 2014. She was rescued by the Cameroonian army while trying to escape and later transferred to the Nigerian military.
