A dancer performs as Senegalese band Guiss Guiss Bou Bess plays at the opening of Kehinde Wiley’s artist residency, Black Rock, in Dakar, Senegal.
Designed by architect Abib Djenne, Black Rock will welcome artists, filmmakers and writers from around the world to create bodies of work in the western most point on the African continent. Photos by NY based artist Dwayne Rogers decorate the walls while local designer Aissa Dione created the interior.
